Got Questions?

Booking, Gear & What to Bring

Clear answers to ensure you arrive completely prepared for your kitesurfing sessions in Essaouira.

01

Is all kitesurfing equipment included in lessons?

Yes, 100%. When you book lessons or beginner packages with Atlanticzin, we supply top-of-the-line kites, bars, twin-tip boards, harnesses, impact vests, helmets, and 4/3mm or 5/3mm wetsuits designed for Essaouira’s Atlantic temperatures.

02

What personal items should I bring to the beach?

We recommend packing: high-protection reef-safe mineral sunscreen (SPF 50+), sunglasses with a retainer strap, beach towel or changing robe, swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit, a reusable water bottle, and a warm windbreaker jacket for post-session relaxation when the coastal breeze picks up.

03

What happens if there is no wind during my booked days?

Safety and genuine progression come first. We operate on a fair-wind policy: if conditions are unsuitable for safe kitesurfing, unused lesson hours are either rescheduled to the next windy window or refunded without penalties. We never charge for cancelled wind sessions.

04

How early should I book my kitesurf package?

High wind season runs from April to October. During summer months (June to September), slots and private instructor availability fill up quickly. We recommend reserving at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance to secure your chosen dates and preferred coaching slots.

05

Can I rent kitesurf equipment if I am an independent rider?

Yes. Independent riders holding an IKO Level 3 (or equivalent proof of self-rescue and staying upwind) can rent modern kites, bars, and boards from our school center. Spot safety briefings are included with every rental.
